This is my brother and sister of Luxembourg, Jean and Ethel Schumacher. They are very romantic couple that I ever know before, yeah you could see a whole of story of their romance in their website at eurofil.org.

They love Lord Jesus also as I do, so it’s very nice to talk with them everyday about the good of God. I love to write mail to them also, even they are really busy couple but they always replying my mail all the time.

The Eurofil Story

I am a Filipino and my husband is Luxembourger, we have different culture and skin color, he’s pink and im brown but in faith we’re one. This is our story in an arab world….

At my age 21 years old, i was working in middle east a famous city of United Arab Emirates in Dubai. Here i met different people… their color, styles and behaviour, i met also good and bad friends but i give so much of myself to those around me that my desire for a simpler life, yes there is no better simpler plan for my life than the one God has for me and his plan. I was away from family and home and i have learned of being content in any and every situation.

One day, a text message from friend, she invite me to visit sms.ac website i think later on will try. Time was feel bored in office am viewing members profile in sms.ac and i was attracted the name Jean which for me its a girl name but his photo is a boy :) his profile was very nice and thats a viewpoint invites me. I sent him a message saying ” Hi Greetings from Dubai” what a surprised he replied, then time come ‘round right getting love behave in certain ways is the same strong.

January 2003, he was in Dubai our first met, we’re inlove…i saw beauty all around shining from within, i remember feeling giddy:) the thrill of his words and the warmth of his embrace, how wonderful when you feel inlove:)...Then days after he went back to Luxembourg for preparing of our wedding. One month after, March 12, 2003 he came back and documents with him for our civil wedding in embassy, as we planned in church wedding either Philippines or Luxembourg. However, our papers was rejected because we are not same nationality, how difficult this country, tiredness comes trying to impress our papers to every office with a lazy staffs and nothing happened.

We cried and hoping our success in this arab world, that moment we don’t know how…but pleasing God we discover what he desires, he loves us no matter what. April 5,2003 the chaplaincy of Dubai, the Holy Trinity church by Rev. Atkins from great Britain solemnized our vows, a very simple preparation but a very big day of our success! Our mind is refreshed and our hearts made joyful.
